Santa Fe Information
DIRECTIONS:ARRIVING FROM THE NORTH: Coming into town on Highway 285 from the north, get into the left hand lane to take the exit to Downtown Santa Fe/Museums.
Pass by the De Vargas Center/Albertsons on your right and continue on through the intersection at Paseo de Peralta.
At the next light, turn right on Park Avenue.
Drive one block and turn left on West San Francisco Street.
Turn into the gravel driveway (note fire hydrant) across the street from Vanessie's Restaurant and just beyond Zona Rosa Condos.
Once in the parking lot you are almost there! The Chavez House is located off the street and behind the main house with the wall and carport.
Continue on the driveway until you cannot go any further, about 30 yards from the street, and turn right at the end.
You will see a low adobe house with blue trim on the windows. This is your final destination.
The Chavez House has a nice little patio outside with table and chairs.
There will be a garage ahead of you; park in front of the unused garage.
The house has a few doors; the middle door is the front door. The code to the lockbox is 1605.
ARRIVING FROM SOUTH:
Take I-25 north to Santa Fe from Albuquerque. Take the Saint Francis Drive exit north and continue on this road for about 2 miles or ~10 stop lights.
Turn right on Alameda Street. (Burger King on your far left).
Drive about one quarter mile, then turn left on small street Camino Campo for one block.
Turn right on West San Francisco Street.
After 2 blocks turn left into the gravel driveway (note fire hydrant) across the street from Vanessie's Restaurant and just beyond Zona Rosa Condos.
