Santa Fe Information

Santa Fe is an amazing city with an atmosphere and culture that is truly beautiful and unique.  In the spring and summer, the beautiful weather and mountain landscape provide lots of options for outdoor fun like camping, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, and river rafting.

In the summer, the world renowned Santa Fe Opera season is in full-swing in the beautiful open air concert hall located just north of the city.

In the fall, festivals abound with the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta taking place in October, the Santa Fe Indian Market, and the Santa Fe Spanish Market.

Autumn is also chili roasting season when the whole city begins to smell like fresh roasting chili. It is also a relatively quiet time to come to Santa Fe, not as many tourists.

In the winter, ski season is the big draw to Santa Fe with miles of world class ski runs within a few hours' drive, including the beautiful Santa Fe Ski Basin only 17 miles away. Year round, Santa Fe is a gethering place for artists of all different disciplines, with museums and galleries everywhere.
